Nothing much . Wasted my 3.5 years in Biocon. Didn't even get a chance to prove myself, whereas, newcomers were put into investigations and review teams.(when I had 4 years of work experience).

...s (when I had 4 years of experience) that require sufficient years of expertise. Got approximately 5000 rupees increment in annual salary over a period of 3.5 years of my tenure there. I was the sole person in my team who completed 3 years consistently in that team and yet no promotion whereas a person who joined as a Manager was promoted to Senior Manager in almost an year. Overtime work isn't paid in most of the companies in India. I guess Biocon is one such company which exploits the passion of newcomers to work for 'Asia's leading biopharmaceutical company' by making them work overtime without payment. Hence no work-life balance. For me personally, Biocon yielded NO learning, NO monetary gains, NO promotion.

Flexible timings, but with more cons than pros

Dislikes

No growth, no appreciation, not fair to employees interm of salary and hikes. Maybe good place for manager and above but not for employees at executive levels.

...otally depends on to the team you are into. Also work life balance is very poor. Decent salary for freshers. Good place to learn for beginners. Career growth is very slow

Over all culture is good, support and facilities given to employees is good. Valuable suggestions are readily accepted, Salary is good,

At manufacturing site casual culture is not maintained, Technical person need to do nontechnical work too,

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are good supportive . It's is a good company and company policies are very good, appraisals r fair and they gave very good salary and bonus every year. It's a very good experience of learning of new things and it is a great opportunity for working in that company....
