New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

I like most is the Company is the pioneer to introduce cable business in Bangladesh. Now the Company is working for DTH which will be launching next year. The Company is trying to digitise this business like India though it is very challenging for Bangladesh. Our trade with India. We buy the pay channels from India and distribute it all over the Bangladesh. Since I am the Coordinator to Vice-Chairman, so I have many opportunities to get trained myself. I have a chance to travel abroad in future.

Dislikes

I hate the politics that was born. growth and promotion are very slow. the work pressure is high though I like the pressure. I don't have to work for a long time here. I love the flexibility I can enjoy. our head of departments are very egoistic and they don't value a woman which are really unexpectable because women are now girls can work with a boy and many cases girls are far ahead of boys.
