Very low salary to IITians and they fire when time for appraisal comes. And will say your work was poor without any evidence. Don't give laptop, has to work on desktop. So only work for office. And 12 days leave in a year.

Likes

If you're a beginner, it's a good place to start your journey as an SDE, you'll get nice training and all. Work is chill, so the work-life balance will be maintained. In some cases when the client is from the US, etc, you might need to work at unconventional hours, but overall it's good.

Dislikes

The initial salary and benefits are very very poor. They won't even include your parent's health insurance. There is no specific thing as a culture per se. One thing is there though. They value your loyalty more than anything. That's why they have crazy appraisals (like above 50%). Your compensation will be way much better in a long run if you compare it with your other peers, who probably got twice the amount of salary than you when you all started.

Likes

...acting with them, especially in initial stages of career, we get to learn a lot. It is a huge bonus on top of technical learning curve. The organisation provides platform and freedom to learn, express and grow as much as we want. And we are rewarded pretty well for the performance as well.

Dislikes

We face the disadvantages of flat hierarchy and flexi timings, on occasions, where some colleagues take wrong advantage of the work environment and do not work along with the team.

If someone from top college was preparing for IAS/IES/GATE and was unsuccessful, they can start there career here, as they do not ask anything IT related. 3 round Interview is taken based only on Maths, mostly PnC, Probability and CAT like algebra.

Dislikes

Once you get into a project, your work life balance is sent to hell. You are treated like slave for good 10 hrs. You are required to be inside the office for 9 hrs which does not include going to washroom, eating lunch in canteen(they have installed doors which only open with your card, which records your timing inside the office, kindly note washroom and canteen are on other side of gate). Though company in principal allows for 2 days of wfh every month but most of the manager won't allow you taking wfh. You are gonna be bluntly told that wfh is a privilege not a right.

They give good appraisals if you are ready to work for more than 9 hours daily and on weekends.

Dislikes

Once you resign, Beehyv tries to destroy your carrier in any way possible. Its a deadend job, either you keep working for Beehyv your entire life or your carrier is destroyed
