The only good thing about working at BECIL is that you will get your salary and allowances(if any) on time.

Dislikes

1.) Only a few people work dedicatedly, other just come to office and discuss about their household affairs, what they should eat in the lunch, what film they should watch etc. 2.) Majority of employees are engineers, but they don't even ever visit the site where the project is ongoing, they just do a very little amount of paper work (which they just copy paste from the papers provided by the vendor). 3.) Although the work are strict, but it is never implemented, barring a few majority of employees come to office around 12'O clock and leave before 5 in the evening. 4.) People don't take responsibility of even a small work, If a project is tough and requires constant monitoring and management skills, employees will just back off. 5.) Only the favorites of the management gets increment or promotion( They don't even have to work for it). 6.) Dedicated employees are removed from a project abruptly and the project is given to the favorites so that they can get promotion and increment.

I was hired under a contract. For the above asked questions the BECIL doesn't even consider for contract staff. Job under BECIL contract is a sample of discrimination. I will not suggest you. They are not responding to principal employer & employees. Its been near 2 years no government holidays & festival holidays except 3 day(Independence day,republic day,Gandhi jayanthi), no medical even our work place is hazardous in nature, no increase in salary & fighting to get salary on time. Not responding head office in terms of any help, I would like to rate minus 5 star

Work Security I can't say is good but u can hachieved here good opportunity for learnings view point and experience,sallery have to pay on time but some time delay due to some issues,and salleryis not increment regularly.
