-For full time employees extremely good. -Career Growth is slow but they provide you good package (Only for full time employees) -They believe in smart and hard work.

Dislikes

I was on contract for 7-8 months and they were extending my contract for another few months but I didn’t choose to stay there because of below reasons: - Career and personal growth is zero for contractors. They will never permanent you so easily at 1-2shots. Only 5-10%chance of getting permanent that too after 5-8years later. -They have 5 days working policy but for contractors it is 6days working - They doesn’t provide any type of facilities to contractors except transport facility. -BASF excludes contractors from all events whether it is formal or casual. -BASF treats Contractors in extremely rude and poor way. Company is really good for Full time employees but worst for Contractors. They have different colour ID cards to identify who is their employee and who is Contractor. They provide blue colour id cards to full time employees and green colour id cards to contractors and housekeeping staff. Full time employees make contractors feel as you are not a part of BASF and treat you as their servants by giving weird looks all the time and throwing negative attitude. Even their housekeeping staff doesn’t respect contractors and instruct them saying you don’t do this n that or do it by yourself or why you doing this and that which makes you feel disrespectful.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow otherwise working environment is good

Likes

Work life balance is very good, team bonding is excellent. Employee support system is good (however perks, benefits reduced significantly in recent years). Good exposure of different businesses, industry, customer set up so it gives opportunity to move within company for good positions -it is critical to have good connect with key decision makers.

Dislikes

... to other countries and heavily depends on leader's perception about individual. Variable payout/bonus is highly influenced by BASF global performance hence actual payout is far less and total CTC will be less than given in paper. Now performance system is implemented where individual performance will be reward with instant payout of bonus however increment will be less dependent on individual performacnce.

...Policies are well defined. Since German MNC culture & work life balance is good. Salary as per industry standard. You will get Bus & Canteen facility.

Dislikes

Promotion and R&R policy is available but result varies as per your Manager.

Great learning experience, good growth opportunities especially for women, empowerment & transparency, Sustainability measures.

Dislikes

Lower than industry standard pay scale (with respect to other MNCs in the Chemical sector), slow growth, political atmosphere at some geographies & businesses.
