New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...lf for toilet cleaning. No expectations and no self respect in bgss management If anyone wants a respect less job having no career objective no salary growth required and 100% job security required is the place for you. Come here degrade you-self and see the magic you are no where in job market. Bgss is not financial organisation not a bank and not a back office . No company policy. No hr policy. The whole bgss run by one man and he is GOD. If you are good with GODs nearby people then u are ok. Otherwise you are watched u cant have leaves . They don’t care if anyone die at our place they just want you to come and work. U cant have continues 3 days holidays . U cant go out of gujrat without having permission of GOD. As per bgss how serious covide u have it will be cured within 14 days only. Otherwise you are making noutanki. No bonus nothing except salary.

As it is a young organisation, work load is less.

Dislikes

...o work life balance 7. No previlage for late night travel or food allowance 8. No bonus or variable pay 9. Poor management by higher authorities as they do not have a say in bank’s procedures. 10. Intrusion to holidays like second/fourth Saturday and Sundays. You have to work on these holidays and a compensatory leave against it is a tough and sorry state of affair.
