During the end of my tenure, office politics took upper hand. People started promoting their favourites openly. Diversity (female) candidates were even more preferred over better counterparts. Tamil localites unfortunately started preferring localites over Cosmo crowd, whereas initially it was a pure Indian mix crowd. Chennai as location again is not preferrable. Language barrier and weather being main hurdles

The people I’ve worked with so far have been really good. They’re supportive and caring and I’ve learned the correct meaning of teamwork here. ...ment level play so bad politics that you just don’t feel like talking to them. Secondly the salary and appraisal is much below the industry standards. Also, there are hardly any travel opportunities that anyone would get here. Thirdly, the growth here is not much. After a point your work and career will become stagnant and that’s when it’s time to move.
