...lities finds no difficulty in getting work in the Bank which is a big positive). You will get cab and Sodexo additional to your salary. Learning opportunities are more. Can easily switch to any other fields of interest based on your passion. You will get support from the managers.

Once you are into a project, you seldom gets time to explore new technologies. They provide no on-site opportunities or if you are looking for one, this is not the place coz the Bank has no cross border location change policy, but you can get transfers within the country where you are authorized to work. Appraisals are always weird saying the funds are always limited for each team’s appraisals but your bag will be pretty much big with a load of tasks for each releases. Most of the managers are location biased probably those from Chennai location. If you are from the respective locations, you will be benefitted more. Poor work life balance, you need to spend more time during the onshore hours as the onshore people never compromise their timing, but you need to. Weekends will be gone with their preplanned releases (almost all releases are happening on weekends). They will give a chance to work on at least one full weekend in each month of a year, but you will get comp offs. Considering Mumbai, the travel time is really hectic but it’s hybrid mode and they insists the employees to spend minimum 7 hours in office which takes your 9 to 10 hours of a day (both office and travel) after which you need to login from home to join the daily meetings with onshore people.

Nice work life balance. Good people and decent management. Not the best but you can survive. Good opportunities to learn new tech.

Dislikes

Won't pay you well and very conservative as all banks are. Good opportunity to learn new tech, but won't get an opportunity to apply and use those learnings as they kind of have a phobia of new tech adoption.

The application I worked on expected me to stretch alot in the night unlike the promised regular shift. It affected my health to a great extent and there is no way to get a release if u proved to be a good employee. The system followed is similar to service based and onsite folks are mostly insecure so there will be politics as well. Liked the company but I couldn't do justice to my health..
