New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...not supportive and stakeholder are also rigid in terms of hiring the candidate Salary hike is only 20-25% max. They ask to join the candidate wheres actually candidates are not interested. This is should be called a "DUKAN" not company. No washroom in the branches.

I will neven suggest anyone to join this company.. All are frauds.. I left the job 4months before still don't get my salary yet.. They are not even cooperating.. They don't pick the call also don't text back.. No communication.. Ridiculous. I will take legal action now.

...ing is not there. During covid they have not supported the team as it should be. 50% deduction in salary is not justifiable in any scenario as people are not able to meet their regular expenses.

Dislikes

No support from superior but unnecessary salary deduction in their hands. Travel reimbursement written in offer letter but not approved by branch manager. Always threatening to fire and also high attrition rate. No clarity on job requirements and poor growth career wise. They just want you to sell insurance to your own client and family members and generate revenue else fired in first 4 months only. Wasted my 10 months here. Not recommended at all.

There is no one is not supporting to newly joins ,and there is more politics.all is under manager control,
