Review of Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad. ..ATH. ATH is 1500 beded Hospital in the locality and almost covered more than 6 million population area. It is a tertiary care Hospital in the province KPK. Area wise it is the biggest Hospital in South Asia. It is a teaching hospital for Ayub Medical college which is leading medical school in the province. It almost contain all the specialities and has specific departments. Doctors of ATH are very competent and work in friendly environment. The daily opd patients are more than 3000 . New technologies have been adopted in ATH and all internal system is computerized. There are step up and down intensive care units both for medicali and surgical departments. The ER department (Accident and Emergency department ) is very advanced having the team of doctors and staff. Environment is very friendly and almost cover all emergency cases including RTAs ,trauma unit and all medico leaugal cases. ATH is an Atnomus body and provides tertiary care services to local people as well as referred from other districts.
