If you can find a job elsewhere, please choose that - no matter the salary, perks, etc. The company has issues all around and I can summarize the major ones below - 1. Lack of highly skilled talent pool: People development is not a thing here and you'll end up spending more time in training people than doing an actual job. The quality of delivery is very poor all around and most times people lack understanding of what's best for the business. New channels such as ecommerce and retail have continued to fail and are hardly making any impact and getting repeat business, thus very little hope for future improvements either. 2. Cost cutting through employee reduction and withholding variable pay: The company is known for its reduction of employee base across all levels - no matter the performance. If Better.com strikes to you as challenge from work perspective, this would be at par. The company has lost a good chunk of employees to this and the knowledge pool corresponding to it. 3. Data is a complete no-no: You are expected not to use data here because logical reasoning is overpowered with personal bias. Examples include investing in promotions which are known to yield less values and thus margin reducing, but the company is ok to bleed. 4. High attrition At a time when most companies have ventured into D2C businesses in cosmetics and boomed, Avon continues to struggle and most employees fear Avon India will soon be out of business. Many are exiting due to this volatility and post a major cut in employee base, many employees are moving on considering better options. Further, as the company hasn't cared about the workload, with most people double or triple hatting to cover for the work which was earlier being done by the exited employees, most of the staff is burnt out and lacks motivation.

at first we used to sell the products & when the customers paid the money for the products` ,we used to pay the amount in the bank of avon.but now we have to pay first.

Not supporting in any way I m not on the pay roll of the company n due to lockdown my work is totally closed since last 4 months

Work life balance is worst. Lots of politics . No learning opportunities or career growth . It's always the same monotonous work. I guess it is very important to have a good supervisor under whome you are working. It's not always fault of the company but it really makes a lots of difference who your supervisor is ...
