It is a Gold mine for mechanical engineers "only for gaining knowledge". Job security good unless company is under recession or we perform any unethical work, anybody won't fired at the lower level. There are plenty of operations that can be learnt and explored.

... and stop bothering. Hike and promotion are myth unless it happens miraculously.Salary structure is bad, needs lot of improvement. HR needs strengthening and should stand for the department's cause.

Lot of politics from top to bottom level management, carrer growth is only for people belong to particular category, for others it takes a lot of time, need to focus more on safety.
