Aravind Eye Hospital offers a very low salary and no benefits. We are working as service-oriented. The workload has increased and there are no government holidays. The work load is extremely stressful. The manpower is not sufficient. There is no facility in the department. If anyone is providing sponsorship for the funds. They are utilised for their benefit.

Good place to learn clinical and surgical skills due to large patient load.

Dislikes

Learning program not well structured. Poor work life balance. Many Sundays will be working without any compensation. Career growth is slow if you are not a localite.

...ll sort of surgical experience and atleast learning of all basic surgery(phaco).anyone who is working 12 hrs with minimum salary would expect atleast good surgical exposure.sisters were like if they don't like you they won't let you do surgery.company policies are good for their own.if they are taking you for work somewhere they will be least bothered about your fooding,i mean bad quality rice ,watery curry you will be forced to eat.

Did not get the right surgical learning opportunities which I deserved and which I worked hard for during my fellowship with a salary of 20k,which is below standard for any doctor who has completed M.S,and 12 hours of though duty seeing 400 patients a day.

I interesting in this company in maintenance field. Due to Good satisfied in work.Eye is very very important in human. India's most big service in aravind eye Care system. I will join this service very happy.

This organisation has a very big brand name. It provides me a great opportunity to learn many skills for my career especially Innovation, communication, leadership etc... The culture of the organisation is really amazing and it is very unique. Any innovative ideas can be implemented here. Lot of opportunities for self growth

Dislikes

Multiple bosses is one of the main issue. We need to get approval from many people for any kind of task. Work life balance is very poor. I work more than 12 hours in a day. This would be frustrated for any employee. They won't give leave even for valuable reasons
