New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Not enough salary... the work pressure is very high... specially in night shift... but salary is very low as compared to other hospitals... so i dont recommend this hospital to anyone from salary point of view.. but for experience it is good if u are working in icu.. in ward there is lot of work pressure... u cant plan by your own... u hv to beg for everything so i dnt like it

Dislikes

I am a Bsc Nurse, always scored good in every activity in hospital. Every one recommend me staff as well as the patients being good in every activity the Salary, Incentives, Diwali bonus given to me all is very less as compared to work load. I leave my residence at 6.30 am to reach hospital on 8am duty conveyance is also not given. Hiring a cab or an auto is too expensive for me according to my salary. Its each and every staff that work here represent the hospital , they should be also cared.

Dislikes

The negative aspect is more work load less pay scale and nothing for extra hours.The resignation notice period is also very long it should be only 1 month rather than 3 months.

Dictors does not give proper op treatment for staffs, they thought staffs comes for treatment without pay, some doctors didnt see staffs in opd .
