Amazon is a great place to work however if your new to the industry or fresher its better to go a challenging roles in Amazon and keep your options open for skills based roles. Will not recommend any role with is not based on the IT skills.

... in the beginning but you will regret staying more than 2 years with out growth. Benefits like stock compensation practices and transportation and Sodexo for food are getting older and needs a rise since it has not changed since its inception in India.

Amazon is very great place to work. You can get lot of opportunities to learn and improve your skills, They will give you technical classes and courses which you can Opt in If you prefer. They also conduct technical movement program every year, Balanced work culture, Allowance for night shifts, meal vouchers, Annual gifts are awesome. Seniors and managers are very supportive.

Seems to be slow promotion and lot of criteria for promotions. Pay is decent but not very good

...are also worldclass especially the Health insurance for you and your loved ones. With the right work the growth is amazing and the pay as well.

The office politics played by senior management often hampers the work experience. The compensation for lower level employees is a joke as it has remained same post inflation twice.

Very bad management, no career growth if you join as support, politics for getting promotion, no path to get out of from support to tech.

senior managers need a target every year to terminate, no work ethics they do not know what KPI is and measured if 15 team members is there and all meet their targets which is productivity, no errors etc however is last in the stack is put on PIP Which is not ideal for the end user Scorecards that cannot be automated by the l4 manager is considered as a negative point and the manager is removed from the company
