Amazon is one of the best companies in terms of getting upskilled. It provides awesome opportunities to learn new technologies that might help us grow or change our career field. And also it provides a permanent work from home, that other companies should learn.

... won't get the deserving promotions. Office politics is at its worst phase here. Work-life balance is almost negligible, and the salary is in peanuts for the people in non tech, in a span of 7-8 yrs you won't even be able to earn 5 thousand extra from the starting salary. But again Amazon technology offers a decent or high salary. If you are searching for a non-tech role just for salary and hoping to have a work life balance than rather go for other companies like Walmart or service based companies, but never choose Amazon. But if just want to learn and get upskilled then you must try for Amazon. If you are from Tamilnadu then the above points are not for you to apply in Amazon Chennai, you will pretty much get all the benefits of promotion and salary hike, but remember try to be the best bootlicker.

There is no personal life left after 10 hour shift. Rotating shift every week deprives you of sleep and health goes for a toss. Join corporate amazon, but no FC or sort centre if you want a happy life.

Leave policies are so great. Employees are entitled to n times of Covid leaves. For eg:- If one is positive 3 times, then they are entitled to 14 days' leave each time they had covid. This is so far the best policy in the entire industry.
