There's nothing to like here, except two things 1. Still a few good engineering managers. 2. The scope of learning (that too depends upon upon your team)

1. Not generous compensation for deserving employees 2. Terrible HR Dept (unethical HR practices) 3. Too much politics since last 1-2 years 4. Amagi used to be a great place to work, but eventually with new management, It has become an organisation of fake promises

Compensation is good.

Dislikes

Developers with no management experience have become directors and Directors have no clue how to manage people, micro management, and horrible culture. Teams doesn't collaborate with each other and keep redeveloping same features again and again in different technology. In one of the calls which I can't forget, cofounder asks we are paying you money you have to extend and work more. Wrong way of asking employees to work. There is a method to motivate employees and get the work done.

- No job security, company has recently laid off many good employees - Exclusionary culture and to much politics - Incompetent managers - Lack of vision

...y is good but not employees. People who are working there should be in politics. Good salary but they follow hire and fire rule.

Dislikes

Don't mess with senior faculty they can throw you out for no reasons even you are not wrong.

Dislikes

Internal Politics, 1st child is always favoured even if it is wrong. You don’t get time to do any skill development. Don’t get Clear Answers from HR. HR dept does not care about their respective business units. Founders are good but always busy with innovations.
