Policy are very unstable and nobody bothers to address concern. Policy drafted are not at all followed along with employee benefit. If you put your step forward for asking about policy to HR. They deny saying it can't be given. Please think twice before joining.

Salary on time (Without the project, they provide only 3 months salary)

The client selected me, and then only Alten hired me. I am waiting for the client call, but due to some reasons, such as project visibility and a lack of projects, I am not assigned to a client project. If you are selected for client purposes, they simply focus on the same team only. In case your role has any issues, like a lack of projects or any other issues, they won't consider your situation or anything. They won't try to check or search for jobs based on your skills in other teams or other clients. After three months, they won't provide any salary. They simply inform you that without a salary, you are our lifetime Alten employee. First, they stopped my salary after three months, and I left the company. They do not have enough project. Project culture is very bad. Once a project is over, the manager cannot even find a project based on skills and would eventually ask you to leave. There is no job security at all. They hire for contractual jobs but say there is a permanent opportunity while hiring. After onboarding, if you are not in a project, they start to consider you on the bench. Recently, many employees were fired in the Chennai branch. 1. Great time wasters 2. No Job security 3. No project | No Salary 4. No Response (They don't need Teams or Outlook because no one is supporting or responding to an employee.)

Work culture is good People are good! Management has some issues. IT guyz are welll behaved and supportive.

Appraisal, Salary Hike Issue 2025 they introduced new policy of leaves - 25 leaves for year (EL+ CL) Previously it was 30 days

They donot have enough projects. Project culture is very bad. Once a project gets over. The manager cannot even find a project based on skills. And would eventually ask you to leave. 1. Very Nice, cooperative and Polite people. 2. Salary On time or before if holiday. Good Medical policies to employee. 3.Regular corporate training sessions on cyber security, advance excel woman empowerment, lots of employment to new people and many more.

Dislikes

Most of people outsourced at client location.
