Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.I love the fact that I am a part of a team,high quality prooducts and has a global client base.anotther plus point is that my colleague come from various culture backgrounds,and we work happily in collaboration.I also like he employee re hire plicy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent,but growth is slow.Managersdo not value an individuals 'unique strengths,which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times.
