Peaceful place to work. No firing yet due to Covid-19 & all salaries are paid on time. Seems pretty confident that they can get through these tough times. Work from home is open for all due to Covid-19 & no compulsion to report to office unless in extreme cases. The work life balance is the best thing at Allegion. Looks like the hikes, promotions & other benefits are going to take a huge hit on Covid-19 situation.

Dislikes

Compensations is below market standards, Appraisals and hikes too. Growth is totally dependent on the Manager whom you're put under. Employee feedback is heard, but seldom acted upon. Management needs a shake up to rethink & re-evaluate progress. The crowd is a mixed bag of knowledgeable & not so knowledgeable folks. Its all luck which team put into. Changing team/manager not as easy as it is said. No benefits specific to Covid-19 situation being rolled out for employees. Internet reimbursement cancelled during a time when that is most used.

Work from home feature is good sometime salary too, if you can negotiate for big amount

Treatment is very bad, no work life balance, you always busy in mid night meetings No job security, if you didn't do proper politics you will be thrown out This is not a product based company, we need to fix only issues, nothing to learn from scratch Career will be stagnant, other than few technologies we are not supposed to do anything else Highly political environment, your appraisal depends on how big did politics this year than how much work you did every year Training are very minimum & few training's are useless Very bad work life balance, you will end up doing daily mid night meetings with other center guys

Likes

The company gives a lot of importance to innovations. Being a product based company, none of the resources are sitting without a Project.

Dislikes

The work pressure is very high. Managers might acknowledge but fail to refer the same during appraisals. There are many calls with US or European counterparts in evening. Management has been the same from a very long time, need a freshness there to try out new things.

Likes

Opportunity to work in latest technologies and challenging scenarios. Good benefits and open communication across all levels.

Dislikes

This office location is not well connected. For someone not from Bangalore south will face issues for commuting to this office

Likes

Technical learning is very good, good culture and now policies are changing but can be better. Job security is too good

Dislikes

Probably allegion culture is fading away , it will be great if we keep that as is.
