I joined as a trainee. I was put on a self paced, self learning training module. I was told by the manager that once I complete training, I will be considered for full time. I took about six months to go through linux, python, django, javascript, jquery, reactjs, html & css. Teammates are very helpful. They gave me tasks to complete from their project. That really helped learn and understand entire sdlc process. I am now a fulltime developer. company culture is very informal - no dress code, casual. everyone is accessible. Seniors are very knowledgeable and helpful. The company founder comes in a t-shirt and cycles to the office! Timing is flexible. sometimes they allow work from home. Saturday and Sunday are off. Good encouragement to learn new technologies and apply them on the job.
