It’s very hierarchical, the manager doesn’t talk directly to the analyst it goes thru three people for a very simple question. While your work will be appreciated thru hike but the politics makes it hard.

They would make false promise while salary negotiation like you would be working on live deal etc so you should take less salary as we are koi, but once you join neither you will get the quality not the salary and you will end up regretting
