I really like the passion of the employees working here and the overall Team spirit. It's a great place for learning in a very professional environment. I also like the Company's growth over the last few years. Once you spend a couple of years or more here, you do get a lot of flexibility

...ies/ offsite. The company has a notice period of 3 months for most of the roles. The pay is not so competitive and certainly requires industry benchmarking

They don’t treat you like humans but like resources. Compensation disparity. Most if the top people are here since copal days and have no experience in other companies which makes them really bad managers.

Management is pathetic. Acuity doesn't have any good processes. They basically fix the discrepancies between the Goldman Sachs applications and update the applications as per client requirements. It's Middle office (Secondaries) work and nowhere close to Fund accounting as they mention in the job description. The Gurgaon PEC team comes under Shivam Dua, who is a veteran employee of Acuity Since, 2008. Trust me, he is clueless about Private Equity. Teams/ Managers are more focused on completing the task without understanding it. No accountability, each team blames the other. There will be no proper training. People who were part of the pilot process are running the show with a lot of arrogance. And Managers support these arrogant employees and supervise the whole team on their mark. Don't be a whistle-blower, you'll be fired. HR (Raj Goel) is a puppet who listens to everyone but acts according to the management.

The job security aspect is excellent. Untill and unless you have made a major mistake or are reluctant to follow orders, you won't be kicked out. Bangalore location has flexible work hours while the Gurgaon location does not have such.

Dislikes

The salary is not upto standards majorly because there is no increment while you get promoted. There is n/salary band according to position. Office politics.
