ABSIV is a certification company for ship class. which is main business, Company dont fire low salary employees, supporting staff.

Dislikes

Company has two types of employees namely permanent and contract employees. While permanent employees receive HRA, Gratuity, PF deduction and allowances etc, there is lumpsum manday rate for contractor and freelancer. Permanent employees work from monday to friday but contractor need to work on saturday also. Groupism is the problem in ABS. North indian vs Malyali power struggle Bad office politics exist at ABS

Company financial status was good. Employee salary was on date.

Dislikes

No proper KRA for job role. Need to do multi taking role. Work pressure is quiet high. No proper training program for freshers as well as seniors. you have to learn with your own skill. If there is a company need then only you get chance for proper training. You have to be available 24*7 for support calls.

This is highly Commercial about their profit and business Before joining of customer in this job, never say about 10k and 20k investments Take 550 for enroll. In this way after enroll, payment reveal 10k story. Like this they cheated and took 550 unfairly. After that if we ask no one responses. This is actual process in company.. Following this cycle all customers I was experienced.

As freelance engineers it's average condition & making late for payment to inspection engineers,but the ABS give permanent position means it's very good company.

ABS is a very good company but for Freelance engineers ABS is providing the late payment, that i dislike.

Only benefit is you are working on the product from scratch.

Dislikes

Firstly they only deal with Alcatel, which has least demand in current world. Working in Service team is quite like hell. You cannot have any plans for yourself as there can be issue at any point of time. IF there is an issue you can be made to stay there for more than 48hours also in a stretch. No future in terms of current technology they are working on. CTC and compensation are way less than market standards, but travelling allowance is higher than any other organisation.
