Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Jain Abhisekh & Associates is CA Firm where I have started by initial stage. In this firm I have worked for more than 3 years and gained knowledge & experience which help in present accounting fields.

Dislikes

Though I am satisfied in this firm the main problem I have faced is salary & other benefits. In this firm my salary is very low as because I was freshers at that time.
