There are no dislikes as such. It's a good company with an undergoing process of developing a good work and people culture. Office working hours could've been better for maintaining a good work life balance.

1. The new CEO is a nice and professional. 2. They have 3 bean bags, so when you're tired of the horrible treatment you receive, you can go and sit on these bean bags until you're not allowed to.

Dislikes

While the new CEO is trying to bring in some good change, the biggest drawback remains the management, especially in the marketing team. My reporting manager was inexperienced, immature, and led the team with entitlement rather than any real leadership. Communication was always top-down, often rude, and completely lacking in basic emotional intelligence. Feedback was rarely constructive, and mostly based on personal preferences and moods, usually delivered in condescending tone, sometimes reduced to just a disapproving facial expression instead of a constructive conversation. The company allowed two WFHs per month and one menstrual leave, but using them was far from simple. My manager actively questioned and discouraged them, often making up her own rules as well. When I was sick with a food infection (I'd just moved to this city) I required 2 days of rest, and I submitted a doctor's note, she asked me to "ensure it is not fake" and that she did not have the "bandwidth" to deal with it - which speaks volumes about the culture of distrust. In my very first month, I brought up how another employee's consistently demeaning behaviour was affecting my work and her response was to "fight it out if required" and that she wouldn't interfere. She also told me I needed to adjust to the culture because that employee gels well with everyone else - apparently because he's "just like them" Manager also made it clear that WFH = leave. Which means, you will be working, but it also will be considered an "absence" and that you aren't really working. That said, my manager would frequently work from home herself. You're also expected to stay in office as long as required, and they're oddly proud of that and call it "culture".
