Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? The salary they offer is peanuts. The yearly appraisal never cross 10%. Initially they hired many experienced people and then fired them. Now horing all freshers at 2.1 Lakhs p.a. 3 months prior to appraisal they start the drama of cost cutting saying company is not making profits. The process are all normal. Nothing much to learn. They hired a New Senior Manager for Collections and she did all this non sense firing which eventually lead to firing of the Senior Director. This place is a sinking ship....Read More

They provide cab service, but they hire AP & collections employees on a less than a road side labor wage because senior management secure budget for themselves with hell politics.

Dislikes

At the time of hiring they promised to give WFH but managers didn't allow, so don't trust HR & NO work life balance is there. You have to work on festivals also. Lots of politics for appraisals and promotions, upper management comes under creamy layer and actual resource is treated as labor. Upper mgmt. eats all hike budgets of their team.
