Dislikes

I would've liked flexible working hours and a higher increment percentage, given the workload we have. Additionally, at least for the years I have been working here, there weren't any employee-engagement activities for motivation, which I feel might add to the list of cons.

I love the fact that there is a healthy coordination between multiple teams in the company. Colleagues are supportive and friendly. The CEO encourages experimentation and innovation. He also shares insights and welcomes feedback without being biased. The company provides ample opportunities for learning and skill enhancement. It does not lay off the employees randomly.

Compared to many other companies, Webguru is the best place to begin your career, very supportive team and there are opportunities to learn new styles of writing. Throughout the pandemic, there has been no pay cut and have received bonus for Durga Puja as well. There is nothing to dislike here except the salary structure is a little underrated. However, you do get an annual increment based on your performance. 😊

My team member were really nice and they helped me a lot.

The office culture was very sexist. The manager made rude jokes about women, pitted one employee against another. They didn't have any written policy on dress code but that didn't stop them from discriminating. They had a favoritism policy and the hierarchy scenario was terrible. Individuality wasn't encouraged. Moreover, during the 6 month probation period they did not provide any kind of leave. They resorted to deducting money from the salary even if the employee was seriously ill and could not make it....Read More
