The only positives about this company were the few friendly colleagues, flexible timings, and the free meals provided.

Earlier I had the displeasure of working at a company that I can only describe as a nightmare for 1.5 straight years. The workplace especially my team has all the hallmarks of a toxic environment, with a terrible team leader who made life miserable for everyone on my team. My experience there was marred by a lack of work-life balance, no opportunities for personal growth, and the worst appraisals I have ever seen. The team leader was undoubtedly the worst aspect of my experience at this company. Not only was this person extremely difficult to work with, but he always took credit for other teammates' hard work and used it for his personal gains and secured high appraisals. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with, and it seemed as though they were constantly looking for ways to make life difficult for everyone, every day, every minute. He used to make my team work for more than 11-13 hours a day, 6 days a week without any overtime pay, while my shift is only 9 hours. Another major issue was the complete lack of opportunity for personal growth. There were no promotions or bonuses available, and the appraisals were so terrible that even the most hardworking and talented employees would never receive the recognition they deserved while the playful, talentless, and underserved employees would always get the appraisals. The company seemed to care more about cutting costs than about investing in its employees. To make matters worse, the company had very strict timings and very few leave or holiday days. It was impossible to have a healthy work-life balance, and this only made things even more unbearable. For freshers, it was an even worse experience, as there was simply no growth or salary hikes available, making it a dead-end with no future prospects. In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone who is looking for a career and personal growth to rethink working for this company.
