The company culture is very good when you are starting off - gets very political higher up. Your experience depends on who your manager is There is a lot of focus on softer aspects like Culture, I&D etc. Good place to retire from - if you are at the end of your career and don't have drive to push yoruself more

Dislikes

They themselves admit they are poor paymasters Job security is so good - that you won't be fired if you are incompetent! Very bureaucratic - at some levels it's worse than working in a government office People with a lot of passion to work and prove themselves will feel very frustrated. Have seen a lot of people leave because of that.

Work Life balance is good Health insurance is really good Company Culture is good but that's depends on your manager. But there are lot of scope to learn and gain your knowledge.

Politics at supreme level. No respect for talented individuals All of the experience depends on how your manager is. Lot of power given to manager. There is no people's manager. No skip level meetings. Job security is not that good. Not equal for all department.

Except few projects and people, special legacy Volvo People are good to work. Organisational Change and a shift brought too many unwanted and unrealistic changes.

Organisation Ethics they ask employees to follow but they never follow as a company. they have N-no of Policies, Organisational Changes but never Consider Employee Mindset. HR Team is very much abstract in their execution and unclear about their ideas and ideology. People inside are Good but the Management neither the HR Community
