VIT is at par with IITs when it comes to teaching, research and infrastructure. The faculty is provided with every possible facility.

Dislikes

The only con about VIT is that they keep your education and experience certificates in original at the time of joining. And, its not for a week or month time. They keep till your last working day. Therefore, due to this many faculties couldn't appear in government or other universities recruitment process. I personally feel this is a wrong policy. It makes an employee slave of the rules. Even SC of India has ruled that no one can keep your original documents however, VIT being run by big politicians they don't obey any SC or UGC order on this....Read More

It's terrible waste to do research scholar in VIT University there too in school of scope (computer science) especially the lecture janaki meena and Jaganathan these two people who attack and they also insisted I leave my job by attacking personally and also they hold me last month's salary they told me that t they relive me smoothly but they hold it without notifying me and also I said them that I will serve my notice period but she is very arrogant she didn't allow me to serve but as per VIT norms we should notify them to do not hold my salary but she played a very cruel role in my life please people don't ever go and work there if anyone seeing this kindly be aware of the lecture janaki meena and jaganathan.
