Totally this plant is a trial and error method plant.always modification, no proper maintenance activities, and no proper shutdown.

Dislikes

Salary and promotions are very offensive words in this plant. Work culture is good but no work life balance.

Working for Vishnu chemicals is foolishness. Because the one who works here feels that he is a part of the organization. But, the management doesn't acknowledge that. Joining as a fresher is waste of time, even if you have been recruited through campus. Because they join you as a contract based worker (Visakha Outsourcing Services, Excel services, Bharati contract), so you won't be joining as a direct employee (hence zero job security). The salaries are very low like pocket money. No career growth can be expected because this is a chromium chemicals plant (so they just use you). Long training period for a fresher (2-3 yrs) that can't be found anywhere in the world. Company doesn't have a proper safety & welfare policy. They do have it, but as a rough paper and they don't follow it. There is no work culture. 10th, 12th passed outs have been working here since 20-30 yrs. Heavy responsibilities. Officially, I have been a Graduate Trainee. But, unofficially I have worked as a Shift incharge for 1.5 years. When I joined here, the purity of product in CO2 acidification section (Soda ash) was below 60%. After I became an incharge, we worked hard and raised the purity to 95%.
