Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

I wish I could have some.

As it was a startup, initially I was excited about my career goals and work environment but off late there is no job security and the company itself has no idea where it's heading towards without any profit. No growth, no job engagement, no work satisfaction, no annual appraisal, not even paid the variable for what we worked and so on. Just to show less expenses, company started laying off employees and almost 60% of employees had already been laid off. Useless and pointless moves. Just by acquiring other companies Veranda can't survive long in the market....Read More
