Very poor work culture. Almost a 12 hr job. The location was very remote and there was no availability of basic needs. There is no appraisal for those who work honestly and it is very biased.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every

There is a lot of politics the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

My experience at VEDANTA Resources was mixed with pros and cons , as a beginner you will get good experience but it depends on The unit you are posted some units are very good as Cairn India , Hindustan Zinc, Balco while units like sesa Goa are average you will get good salaries of you are posted in profit making units like hzl,Cairn while you will not get these types of facilities in loss making units like sesa Goa , Hr facilities are not that much good as compared to other industries like Tata and Reliance, Carrier growth is limited, Your qualification will be valued if your boss is having a good degree and knowledge while the units like sesa Goa have only diploma holders and they don't respect graduates from good colleges from India. there is nothing that could be liked about only suggestion is join only if you are unemployed and can't do anything of your own.

as I said nothing could be liked about it. No mentorship, no growth opportunity, no work-life balance, no promotion only for higher management you are labour for them. No job satisfaction, no fixed working hrs you would be working in shifts which is pathetic. From 6 in morning to 2 in noon or from 2 in noon to 10 in night and worst 10 in night to 6 in the morning.
