From a CSM's perspective, the burden of every activity and target is upon the CSM. There is no proper strategy put in motion by the top management. The area manager is just a dummy position and no actual work is done by the ASM. There is absolutely no hand holding of the new employee, no one knows how to achieve the targets, which are set illogically. Rational thinking is rebuked. Dealers are not under anyone's control and they work as a separate entity with their own separate interest and targets in mind. Compensation is average and growth is dependent on how well you can manage your boss rather than managing the business itself. There are no fixed working timings. Officially the working week comprises of 5 days but you may have to work all 7 days unofficially, leaving work-life balance tilted towards the later part. Dislikes

LMD department is the worst. Your bosses think they are the owners of this company. You can do all the good work but there is politics and blatant favoritism. My boss was a South Indian and blatantly hated North Indians to the point that they left. The department has about 60 percent attrition rate with no work culture. West region is the worst.
