My time at this company has been a challenging experience mentally. The company’s management, especially Tarun (Founder) has nothing to contribute to the professional growth of the employees. The firm operates like a family run business with majority people from ISM Dhanbad including the founders who’ve hired wife and siblings on senior positions. There was noticeable favouritism and internal politics, creating an environment not conducive to merit-based growth. The culture, unfortunately, was highly toxic, and it hampered the overall productivity and morale of the employees. Moreover, there was a distinct lack of peer to peer learning opportunities, a factor that could significantly impact personal and professional development. Vaishali one of the co-founders seemed to lack key competencies in people management. Half of her team has quit post September of 2022. Also, her understanding in marketing is very limited. She is more inclined towards sales and it’ll be clearly visible to anyone who joins from day 1. If you’re planning on joining the marketing division, make sure to do your research thoroughly. The manager plays a strong role. The work life balance was non existent with 6 working days per week so it wouldn’t matter if the location is Goa since you won’t be able to enjoy it. Daily working hours can extend to 11 to 12 hours resulting in continuous overwork without adequate rest. Additionally the HR division has very limited authority, with the founders retaining final decision making power that can by pass the HR division at any time. This circumstance can be problematic especially for mid-senior level management employees who typically require an empowered HR for smooth operations.
