Majority are good to have as colleagues, friendly and cooperative. This excludes the senior management.
Very deceptive culture. All looks good initially. The CEO seems to be very sensible. Until ... The COO is running the show with absolutely no regard to any worker. The CEO shoots from her shoulder but tries to look like the good boy (you'll find mostly good feedback about him). It took my many months to understand what's going on. Until then I thought all was good. The COO is completely toxic. Micromanages everything, gathers yes people around her, does politics on everything. Her favorites never question here decisions, which are very random and high-handed. She is forever managing numbers, hiring and firing at wish. Business fluctuates a lot, so hiring-firing is rampant. Mostly, firing is said to be based on performance, when it also includes their business conditions, favouritism towards yes people, and bad training for new hires. Anything the COO wants become a 'process', which new people take years to understand. Some have been working there for donkeys years and are safe only because their skills are constantly in demand and are aware of what the company wants, the process. Many either feel their position is safe, or don't have to skills to move. Some were even fired after working with them for over 10-15 years because their skills were no longer needed. To grow and get raises you have to butter the COO, no matter who you actually report to. The constant questioning on numbers makes team leads avoid using new hires, even if senior. Visual design skills are good, but all other skills, including people management, are very mediocre. Learning on cutting edge skills is very limited. When business is good, you will work day and night. When it's down, your job is in danger. HR is there only for paperwork and to organise games. The employment contract has all the cheap tricks played by any company. Overall, a very backward thinking and toxic company. You will thrive if you can leave your brain at home, follow orders (with buttering), and come cheap (at a low salary)....Read More
