Am I on right path?

Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks. My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K. With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes. Now, I’m preparing for an HR round and planning to ask for a 55% hike. Am I on the right track? How can I accelerate my career growth?

The Company being MNC has really good liberal culture. The Company provides work flexibility and hybrid work mode which helps a lot in work-life balance. Diageo culture believes in self governance therefore, no one will really poke into your work timings, or micro manage as long as your deliverables are good. Company says very openly about premiumisation and selling quality over quantity. However USL's main product McDowell's no. 1 is not a premium whisky and while no. 1 is the most sold whisky in India, USL does not see a long future in McDowell's. As such it is closing a no. of factories and retrenching many workers. It even sold a lotof smaller less profitable brands. The overall strength of the company has been cut by 70% in the last 10 years alone and company closing so many factories with more in pipeline. As one of the senior managers put it USL leadership does not have a clue on what to do with iconic brands like McDowell's.
