United Media Services treat employees well. They help employees in times of need and have a good understanding on work life balance. Even after you resign they don't show any hostile attitude to former employees, unless you have committed fraud.

United Media Services does not offer much opportunities for learning and career growth. The system is lenient and sometimes some workers misuse it. This affects those who work sincerely as they have to do more work to compensate for those who bunk

Work Details

As an editor, I was responsible for bringing out a magazine on time.I had to lead the editorial team, coordinate with designers and marketing section. I had to write, rewrite and help the designers. I had ensure that the magazine was error free.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
