I got into UltraTech Cement through college campus from GCOEA as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Sep 2015. For first year our batch of about 80 GETs from pan india was trained in UltraTech Training center, Rajasthan. I am glad to had such a wonderful and rigorous classroom as well as on job training along with project for six months over there. The training experience was really significant.And the faculty was from different plants of UTCL. Later I was transferred to Gujarat Cement Works where I started as an operation engineer in Thermal Power Plant.The working culture is really awesome and there is an world of opportunities for hardworking and passionate people. The UTCL is an esteemed organization where five values are reflected in each and every action. Most important thing I like working at UltraTech Cement is that organization is really serious on skill development of employees and to make them competent and ready for future roles. Dislikes

Few plants of UltraTech Cement are at remote locations which can trouble you if you are metro loving person but facilities are quite good inside colony which can make you feel better.

Work Details

I was Operation engineer in Thermal Power Plants and my job was to operate boiler and turbine from Central Control Room. Along with it I was regularly participate in Value addition projects such as reduction in heat rate, reduction in auxiliary power, etc

Work days: Rotational Shift (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
