Everything is a mess here. The shift timings are not fixed; the morning shift is 9.5 hours long, and they don’t give any time for breakfast or lunch. By the time they decide to give a lunch break, it will be over. The managers are so clueless that they don’t even understand the company’s issues. They come in acting all high and mighty, just wandering around in front of the girls. The upper management is completely out of touch as well; if you ask for leave or mention coming in late, they act like it’s the end of the world and talk big, but when it comes to approvals, they’ll later say they won’t approve it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here—there’s no growth, just office politics, favoritism, and poor management, along with rotational shifts....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
