Likes

Learning new skills like Selenium Automation Testing and writing automation scripts for Software testing. Supportive and constructive

Dislikes

Office in and out timing is very strict. No extra time allowed in office and encourage work life balance

Work Details

I started my career as manual software tester trainee and grow in this company to learn and upskill to selenium automation tester. I am truly grateful to Turtledove to give me a chance and show confidence in me to handle large projects

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
