The environment ,the staff and the work culture

Dislikes

Sometimes we have to do overtime but we won't get extra allowance for it.

I struggle a lot when I joined but when I prepared more about the work style I was more familiar to complete my work at time

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow job training is not given for new joiners

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job.
