Nothing good can be said about Tractebel India operations. I won't recommend this company to anyone. However, if anyone gets an opportunity to work with Tractebel Engie SA , Brussels, then don't miss it.

Culture : Pure Lala culture ( It seems that the entire world revolves around the current MD who owns around 30% shares in Tractebel India Division.) His close confides ensure that his wishes are met and in return he fulfils their financial aspirations. Appraisals : for lateral entries : max 5-6% increment. The top performers are usually the close friends/relatives of BL heads and therefore full-on partiality and bias is evident during appraisals. The appraisals are usually done to tell that why a higher increment can not be given and therefore are destructive in nature. Who gets the cream? Always the top management. Mostly drawing the increments in the range of 25%. Can someone imagine a person sitting at 55-60 lacs CTC in 2022 is now getting INR 1.50 Crores in 2024? Staff Welfare: Poor. Only the top management lusts for exotic tea, coffee , snacks, 5 star dinners while the middle and junior teams are offered peanuts (literally). Ethics & Integrity: They brag too much about this because it is meant only for the followers and not the leaders. Better not say more. The top management knows all the methods to bypass this. Are you valued in Tractebel India division? No, only the BL heads and their coterie are valued and rest all are bonded labor. How is Human resources Department? They are liars and always duping new talent. Hire and fire is their policy . Salary : BL heads: INR 1CR to 5CR, VP: Upto 90 Lakhs, GM-AVP : from 25 lakhs to 60 lakhs, Managers : upto 20 lakhs. Executives : upto 35K pm. Who should be replaced and by whom? MD,CFO & BL Heads . A management team from Brussels would turn around this company in India both culturally and Financially. l enjoyed and learned a lot from colleagues and superiorse .l got a chance to work on overseas projects to work on international standards.

Salary is as par with market and there is no delay in salary.

Dislikes

Managers do not listen to an individual hence suggestions get unheard. Firing is normal when project gets over.
