Toxic Leadership & No Growth – Think Twice Before Joining Since Sushma Amin took over as SSC Head, the work culture has completely deteriorated. Micromanagement is at its peak, and her autocratic leadership style creates a suffocating environment. She makes decisions solely based on her own convenience, often misleading senior management while maintaining complete control over all SSC employees. Unfortunately, European managers and HR trust only her version of events, making it nearly impossible for employees to voice concerns. Her primary focus is cost-cutting at the expense of employee well-being. She manipulates communication to upper management to suit her interests, exploits employees, and offers no real growth opportunities. The SSC, once a great place to work, has now become a cost-saving “fresher’s hub,” where experienced professionals are undervalued, and learning opportunities are nonexistent. Things to consider before joining: No transport facility No canteen, meals, or snacks No rewards or recognition No increments No career growth No learning opportunities No perks or benefits Extreme cost-cutting wherever possible Despite being willing to spend huge amounts on an office space that remains empty most of the week, SSC refuses to invest in employee increments or well-being. While European management itself is excellent and prioritizes people, SSC India has suffered under its current leadership. Currently, major clients have contracts till 2028, with smaller AMEA region clients contracted till 2026. So far, there have been no significant layoffs, but the culture shift has already made it an unpleasant place to work. Final Advice: If you're considering joining, be cautious. 1)Poor communication - From the outset, communication with the TMS Global team was sporadic and unresponsive. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered, leaving me to navigate complex projects without adequate support. 2)Lack of transparency - The Company's leadership was unclear about project expectations, timelines and budget. This lack of transparency led to confusion, delays and cost overrun. 3)Unfulfilled Promises - TMS Global promised a collaborative and supportive work environment but in reality, the team was fragmented, and resources were scarce. 4) Inadequate training - Despite assurances of comprehensive training, I was thrown into complex projects without sufficient guidance or support. Conclusion In conclusion, my experience with TMS Global was disappointing and frustrating. The company's lack of transparency, poor communication and unfulfilled promises made it difficult to succussed in my role. I work on an amazing client, they are challenging but also very good. I have progressed so much and get given a lot of responsibility , some days are long but i do not work weekends anymore!

DisLikes: New SSC Head Sushma Amin created a toxic work culture, micromanagement at highest level, autocratic personality and will take decisions as per her suitability, making senior management fool everyday. All SSC employees report to her which makes the situation more difficult, ultimately you are under her toxicity. Be cautiousand think twice before you join as HR/European managers only trust her in terms of feedback and she believes in saving money, manipulating actual communication to management according to her benefit, exploiting people for her own self interest. European management is excellent and always does best for people. SSC India culture is bad due to her. Please note -- No transport facility, No canteen/meals, snacks facility, No reward, No increment, No growth, No learning opportunity, No other perks and benefits, Zero opportunity to learn as SSC head now making this a fresher's centre of excellence (to save money and delight management) so you will not get guidance from experienced professionals.
