Culture of times of india and ET is transferred by extension to TIL which is a good thing Better than average HR policies Company tries to be like a startup and they are able to make it happen to some extent. So learning is better than average

Dislikes

Biggest downside is bureaucracy and the internal politics. Top down culture is very prevalent. Mediocre quality of business- gaana magicbricks mx player and the list goes on. Hardly any child company is the market leader. ToI and ET are carrying them on their shoulders Very opaque system. No all hands or open team discussions

Initially the experience was positive, However a change in team management can significantly impact the work environment. Office interior is of good quality.

Micromanagement lot of ad-hoc work that you have to do at night, so your delivery timelines should not impact if task spilled, they will make you sit at office till 10PM Leaves rejected even if applying 3 months before Deliveries should not impact if you are on planned leave or sick leave For families emergencies, you have to provide medicals Already done 2 times layoffa

Everything they hired candidates even when they knew they will be selling their one vertical. Environment is not at all good. Managers are toxic, they behave like some goons. They have tendency to threaten their subordinates. They promote their friends and sing praises for them.

There are list which you won’t like it. Appraisal cycle is not proper deliberately they do the appraisal late so if you resign before that they will bot give you variable they say it’s the oart of CTC but nobody gets more than 70%. Job security isn’t good at all. You will have to work on their will whenever they want you to. You will not be valued.
