I had the worst experience ever at Oxford College of Engineering, Bommanahalli, Bangalore. Primarily, in terms of salary it is not transparent! Terms and policies are no where correlated to the AICTE norms! The management doesn't have any solid base, the policy is bound to change as per its whims and fancies. Personally, the institution suck the blood of faculty and treat as a slave where interrogating the management becomes a threat, and fraternity choose the way to remain silent! Leave policy is the worst, one year has to be completed for a new joinee to avail monthly CL, else it will consider as LoP. Workload at its utmost which is not congruent to the salary. Chairman's dedication about institution, cool environment, traditional culture , good infrastructure & tasty, hygiene, variety foods in canteen . They will respect women, obedient students.

Promotion for research and support during applying for funds

Dislikes

There is large gap in academics and industry and no pioneering work is encouraged. Time is short due to tight time table for teaching hours. Library is not open for outside internet access to e-library. Only 2 books can be borrowed in library. There is no wifi in departments.

The college is highly affordable. Placements are happening in pretty good numbers. Teaching is kind of best part in this college. Has good lectures, good libraries.
