When i joined it was a company of 5. All working from different locations. As a result I was able to work from home. This however was short-lived as the CEO soon wanted me to come n sit in an empty workplace while he would be in his 'office' n work (just so they could monitor me i guess?) which i refused.

Being a FinTech company i expected them to be honest about their finances and good with it. They deducted TDS from my monthly salary only to report no deduction with the IT dept. at the end of the year n then paid me the amount in bulk. They did it for 2 financial years in a row causing me financial loss n loss of trust. Also the bulk payment now had to be shown as a salary in the next year.
I planned to go on a 10 day vacation and i informed them 1.5 months in advance and we agreed mutually. A day before my departure they informed me that my leave was an unpaid one. They didn't even include a single day of paid leave. This is when i had been working weekends, vacation or otherwise, for months without a question.
The CTO is technically poor in terms of architectural understanding. There's almost nothing to learn here or challenge to look forward to.
Features are requested without due design discussions, UI is decided upon by inexperienced people.
Ethics isn't really something on the cards and security is a joke. They hadn't even figured out their target group in 1.5 yrs since the inception when i joined them.
All in all chaos reigns here. I wouldn't go back if they offered me a million dollars....Read More

Boring, uninspiring, frustrating and completely closed to suggestions of any kind. I must've thrown at least 5-8 good ideas on the business as well as the technical side lf things. Not one was discussed or paid heed to.
