Good policies of the company, brand reputation is good.

Dislikes

- Tough and dirty politics and favourism. - Boot lickers get appraisal instead of actual workers. - Imaginary targets, which are not at all achievable. - They make you work for things which are not in your profile and if you speak against them they harrass you, mentally torture you for that. - If you want mental peace this is not a organisation to join. - casteism at peak.

Good culture. Company side ok good work environment. I like hindu group. And top level management ( VP, Kerala head) are super support

Dislikes

Manager Level does not follow company culture. It is discouraged by saying that it is done by the complete manager. Despite being an All India level topper, he is being harassed with the strange argument that it is due to God's grace and that other employees have no role in it.

Dislikes

1. Work- life balance is a big negative. It will run one mad as there is too much pressure and one cannot take their legitimate earned holidays due to everyday work pressure. Higher management thinks us to be machines and will force you to do three persons work with the same salary. 2. Salary is not at all good compared to the industry standards. There are some fossils and clowns in the company who runs the show by sucking to higher management. All benefits are stopped except one small medical insurance policy. Editorial is exception as they are worshipped in our organization. 3. Appraisal is a stereotype process in the organization done by HR department every year with no outcome. Promotions are rare as a White Elephant in The Hindu Group which may occur at an interval of every 4 to 5 years if you are lucky with an optional(depends upon super boss) salary hike of 5% to 10% max. Here also editorial is exception. 4. Day by day job security is also an issue in this company with many levels of lay offs over the years. 5. There is little scope for skill development and opportunity for learning and is rarely encouraged by higher management. 6. Due to the above points work satisfaction is also affected and is low. 7. Company culture is orthodox but there are few people who terrorize the whole system by sacking people from there job. 8. People who are working in the organization should be given priority in terms of promotion and salary hike. Instead worthless and lazy people are taken from outside with higher salary which breaks the moral of the existing loyal employees.
