Something which is good about the organisation is it working for a social cause and bringing in a change in lives of many.

Dislikes

There are ample of things to put down in this bucket. The discipline and respect towards each other in the premises is no where to be found. Neither from the children nor from the LT. Despite of continuous reporting of certain issues they aren't taken into account leading the teacher to forcefully end up putting down the papers as no support is being created. This is leading to alot of mental stress and makes the teacher feel overwhelmed. After trying the level best, no appreciation is been given. A lot of biases and favouritism has been observed from the LT. Be it the requesting the LT to support, personal grudges are reflected in the behaviours due to favouritism and biases. Definitely, there's alot you can learn but at the cost of your mental peace. I think like having a safe and sound environment for children is necessary so it is for the teachers!...Read More

Principal is biased, no transperency. Principal dominates employees. She instigates good employees and is known favour of employees who don't do their job properly. Do not think from children point of view. Teachers are not B.ed. Few teachers spoil children for their own performance rating. Allow children to copy.

Children are severely behaviorally challenged which causes severe mental strain on teachers. And all lesson plans are to be created and reviewed one week before.

Lot of learning for teachers and students. New pedagogy used .

Dislikes

Students are not at all in discipline. Teachers are overburdened. No consequence for students. Parents are very less invested. No discipline,so less learning of students.Teacher take lot of efforts,but students do not take any effort and least bothered.

Policies are good but not implemented in every school of Akanksha... organisation is good

Depends on Reporting Manager, partiality, proper qualified PPL are not getting rewards...only spoken English is requirement... subject knowledge is not important... higher authorities don't check these factors what is going in the school...don't like to appoint outsider for sr position...only if you work there for longer times then kg teacher will be promoted as ASL or SL and under them working is tough for qualified and experienced teacher ... so think before you join.... other wise situation will be created that you have to leave by yourself......Read More

There is not even one thing I would say is good about Akanksha foundation. More than providing education to children they give stress and pressurize their employees.

Dislikes

No job security, You have be in good books to stay in this firm. stressed environment. No clarity with the performance feedback given. The owner has a great vision but his team is not interested in providing education to underprevilleged. Lot of Politics involved.
